is this magnet so strong it would mess up the computer in a computerized machine?

I was thinking the same thing as Susan - magnets and computerized machines are not a good mix.

It is safe. :) It very small and most of the time you don't store it sitting on top of the sewing machine where the computer stuff is housed. You tighten a screw then put the Screw B Do away so you don't lose it. But it states that it is safe around computers and LCD screens.
